Create the best den that fits your needs and your budget.
No I am not talking ‘man caves’ circa 1975 with shag carpet and panelled walls. Lose the Dad and the fuzzy moustache too… get it out of your mind.
Condo’s now come plus sized with den additions. Many new condo dwellers have no idea what to do with the den and unfortunately the space in a den becomes some what of a dumping ground for things you don’t have space for in other parts of the condo. Before you make a start throw out the crap – thin it out. Clean, dush and polish! Let’s see what you have to work with. If you don’t have enough space for everything, try moving things which you don’t use a lot into other rooms or into proper storage.
Next ask yourself. What should I use the space for? Some turn the den into an informal room for chilling out with a bottle of red or a media room to catch up on
trash TV the kardashians. If your den is big enough add a sectional sofa and utilize the wall space above by adding shelving.

Turn the den into a multipurpose space. Incorporate a day or sofa bed and think about a work space – it doesn’t have to take up too much space but it is aways good to have a go-to work area when those spreadsheets need attention.
